GLEN ECHO FIRE DEPARTMENT ANNUAL BINGO AND SILENT AUCTION

The Glen Echo Fire Department will be having their annual family-friendly fundraising Bingo and silent auction event on Friday, Sept 5th, 2008 starting at 7:00 pm at the Glen Echo Park Spanish Ballroom on MacArthur Blvd in Glen Echo, MD. All ages are welcome, and there will be prizes appropriate for all age groups. The silent auction items will include sporting event tickets, restaurant certificates, and a Weber gas grill. There is no admission charge, but there is a suggested donation of $1 for bingo cards, and additional contributions are welcome. There will be lots of prizes, some great silent auction items and a bake sale. The money raised will be used for uniforms, equipment, supplies, and training materials for the Glen Echo Fire Department volunteer EMTs and firefighters so that they can better serve the community.
